29/03 - Week 6: Its Vue again

Second lesson in Vue has given me a better understanding of how to render my landscape.

Firstly, create the backdrop ( which is the sky) by clicking the clouds icon. There are lots of choices in choosing the dynamic which you desire, well I chose a sunset setting. After that, click the mountain to create the terrain. you can edit the height and size as well.

And it become something like this.

There are others icon that could enhance the whole setting.
For example:
  • The planet icon is where you can add other planets or moon into your landscape.
  • The rocks is to add rocks and trees does the same thing.
  • Form different sculpture from shapes
In the end I add a sun and water (sea) at my foreground. And there you have it, a perfectly rendered landscape.

A good thing about this software is that you can choose to save it as HDRI in order to open in photoshop for further adjustment. But if you're happy with this, then just save it as JPEG.
